The sales associate will locate project leads, build new relationships and maintain current relationships with customers. They will send out bids, sell, and negotiate project pricing as needed. They will work alongside the branch manager and the operations manager to track, manage and oversee projects from bid to completion. There will be some out-of-state travel (10%).

Responsibilities:

  • Track job leads based on state lettings and requests for pricing
  • Provide detailed cost estimates for customers
  • Create and maintain relationships with contractors and vendors
  • Responsible for billings, estimating and keeping the job on task until project is closed
  • Travel throughout the state to sell our services to current and new contractors and vendors

Qualifications:

  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both written and spoken
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite, basic computer commands and operations
  • Highly proactive and versatile, working well with limited supervision and instruction
  • Ability to learn new tasks and process information quickly
  • Ability to manage and meet multiple deadlines and complete complex tasks
  • Ability to communicate and build rapport, bright and energetic
  • Excellent judgement, common sense, creativity, problem solving abilities and critical thinking skills
  • Have a good knowledge of equipment and tools we use
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen

Education/Experience:

  • High school diploma
  • Knowledge of concrete cutting industry preferred, but not a requisite to apply
